RFID-Assisted Multi-Animal Long-Term Social Behavior
Long-Term Multiple-Animal social behavior is essential for many Social Research, for example, Social Hierarchy in a group,   Social Deficit such as social isolation and social withdrawal which can be first signs of many neuropsychiatric disorders. However, assessing social interactions in freely moving mice is challenging, especially there are multiple (e.g., four or more) animals involved. A common problem in video tracking is the inability to maintain the identity of multiple animals. While (color) labeling animal may work under normal lighting, it is difficult to realize under infrared light (e.g. when tracking in the dark, which in essential for long-term study) and may influence the behavior of the animals.
Clever Sys advances this research with high-performance, video-based behavioral recognition integrated with RFID-based Detection and Tracking. This automated approach eliminates inter-observer variability and fatigue, facilitating rigorous preclinical investigations and reproducible results in various lab environments. Our systems provide a streamlined workflow for reliable behavioral phenotyping, allowing researchers to capture every social interaction with precision. By integrating Clever Sys technology, scientists enhance the depth and integrity of studies focusing on central nervous system disorders and novel drug development. Our commitment to accuracy and data integrity ensures that your behavioral research meets the highest scientific standards for publication and regulatory compliance.
